Year 4 WOW Day!

Year 4's WOW day. On Friday 12th January it was our WOW day where we explored our topic the Stone Age.         We made fruit stew, typical Stone Age food.                                                                               The finished project! Hard at work!   We then made AND erupted a volcano! We made the volcano out of paper mache.   We erupted the volcano using baking soda, vinegar, red food colouring and washing up liquid, it was so much fun! Christina brought in fossils from home that she shared with the class, very interesting! Christina sharing her interesting facts with us!

Happy New Year! It is a new term at Cabot and Year 4 are starting our new topic of Rocks and Soils. We have started the term looking at the Stone Age and making cave paintings in our art lessons.  We have also been looking at a 'Day in the Life in the Stone Age'. We created freeze frames to show how people spent their time in the Stone Age.  We will be having our WOW Day on Friday 12th January! I wonder what exciting things we will be learning about?
